Caring for Velvet
Please note that velvet fabric may appear differently under various lighting conditions – the material shines more in daylight and looks more subdued under artificial indoor lighting. Due to the smooth, high-density structure of the fabric, its color tone may also vary when you run your hand in different directions and angles over the fabric. To balance the color tone and avoid pressure marks, the fabric should be gently stroked in one direction with an open palm, wiped with a damp cloth, or steamed with a steam iron.
